Literature Text

Love is in fact, contrary to popular belief
Not an emotion that can be bought or sold

In the red they walk like cats
Selling their hearts to strangers and shadows they will never meet again
This isn’t a love, it can’t be real for the pain it causes
It’s a fantasy world, a nightmare, a madness that will consume you
With substance and liquor and fear
Further proof of the lies people tried to make you believe

Though many will tell you that Love
Is a lesson we all must learn
How can you learn a lesson in something that can’t be taught?
Study an emotion that is so complex
That many spend their lives trying to figure it out
And yet never let it take hold of them in those fleeting moments

Of Murky Clarity

Why do people insist on telling you this ...

That with money and Status comes happiness
And with wisdom and knowledge comes Love
How can you buy something without a price?
Learn something that no one really knows?

You’ll never know
You’ll never see
Unless you ignore the words around you
Just take that chance
And grow.
I don't tend to write very much poetry ... and when I do, it's usually to clear a part of my head that I can't get down on paper or through the lense of my camera.

So many people will feed you a ton od BS about love, and what it's all about.
Over time people have developed myths and tricks about it and fed them to everyone else so somehow we all become disillusioned about Love ... All are lies and All are just messing with our hearts.

The only way you can find love for yourself is to phase it out and find your own way ...

Well In my head it makes sense xDD I can't really explain it properly. I just see my friends struggling with relationships and playing mind games without even knowing it and it got me thinking ...

 Feedback would be nice ^__^ x
