My Contest Entry For 
Contest 
I won 2nd place!!!
2 days of Sketching and watercolouring ... it would have taken longer, but I was ill (again) on Thursday so I could spend my day working on it
The Contest theme is "Behind Closed Doors" ... Porge wanted a Door and I gave her a door
The concept for this piece is the woman on top of the door is your "Lifes Gaurdian" a Spirit that will watch over you day to day ... but is unable to change anything, just attempt to guide.
I figured my Gaurdian would be under water (hence the blue!) because ... I am more at ease in water, it's definetly my element
the words on the door are "This Is Your Life, Are You Who You Want To Be?" from the band "Switchfoot" ... I think it's good to question life, it gives you a reason to make changes.
Right so behind the door is all sorts of awsome things that I love, from Cake and Doughnuts to Music and Sunshine.
Small girl with angel wings and Halo blowing bubbles is my childhood, it shows how I have grown wings and flown away from that as I've grown up
My Kiwi necklace hanging from a rainbow ... That necklace is the most sentimental thing I own ... it shows my life both past and present ... my life living In New Zealand and my lovely new friends in the UK <33
